What is Trimoryn?
A once-daily capsule sold for weight management support. One bottle holds 30 vegetarian capsules, described on the front as a one-month supply.
Is there a proprietary blend?
No. Every one of the eleven ingredients on the panel has its own printed amount. That is genuinely unusual for a formula this long.
What is the capsule shell made of?
Hypromellose, a plant cellulose, which is why the bottle can carry a vegetarian claim. The shell is listed under Other Ingredients.
Where is Trimoryn manufactured?
The label does not print a country of manufacture. The only location on the bottle is a distributor address in Aurora, Colorado.
Is Trimoryn FDA approved?
No. No dietary supplement is FDA-approved. A registered facility, which this one has, is a factory listing, not a stamp of approval for the product.
The label
Why does riboflavin show 1,470% on the panel?
That percentage compares 25 mg of riboflavin to the adult Daily Value of about 1.1-1.3 mg. It is water soluble, so the surplus simply leaves the body National Institutes of Health, 2024.
Why do the marketing images only show six ingredients?
The product artwork names six of the eleven printed on the bottle. The five left out are turmeric, berberine, resveratrol, and the two live cultures. The bottle itself omits nothing.
Does the label say which cinnamon species is used?
No. It reads only “Cinnamon Bark Extract 10:1.” Cassia and Ceylon cinnamon differ a great deal in coumarin content, and the species cannot be worked out from the bottle.
Are the probiotic strains named?
No. The label names the species, Bifidobacterium breve and Akkermansia muciniphila, but not a specific strain, and it does not say whether the Akkermansia is live or pasteurized.
Is the email address on the label spelled the same as the brand?
No, and that is worth noting as an observation. The label's distributor email uses a different domain spelling from the brand name. We mention it without speculating why.
Taking it
How many capsules do I take a day?
One. The label says 15 to 30 minutes before a meal, and its caution specifically says not to exceed that single capsule.
Should I take it with food or before it?
Before. The suggested use is 15 to 30 minutes ahead of a meal, not alongside it.
What should I drink it with?
A full glass of water. The konjac fiber line swells in liquid, and Health Canada specifically advises at least 8 ounces with any glucomannan product Health et al., 2010.
What happens if I miss a day?
Take the normal single capsule the next day at your usual time. There is no catch-up dose; the label sets a ceiling, not a running total.
Can I take two capsules if I forget a day?
No. The caution reads “Do not exceed recommended dose,” which rules out doubling up under any circumstance, including a missed day.
Why did my urine turn bright yellow?
Riboflavin at 25 mg is far above what the body needs, so the surplus leaves through urine, often within hours of the first capsule. It is harmless.

Who should not take Trimoryn?
Anyone pregnant, nursing, or under 18. The label states this directly, and no dose adjustment changes it.
Is Trimoryn safe with blood-sugar medicine?
Ask a clinician first. Berberine, alpha lipoic acid and cinnamon have all been studied for lowering blood sugar, and stacking them on top of insulin or metformin raises a real hypoglycemia question Dong et al., 2012.
Does berberine interact with other medicine?
Yes. Berberine affects CYP450 enzymes and P-glycoprotein, the systems that clear many prescription drugs from the body, so it carries real interaction risk beyond blood sugar MotherToBaby et al., 2023.
Can I take this while breastfeeding?
No. The label rules this out, and berberine specifically is documented to pass into breast milk in amounts that have not been measured.
